Meet your Councillors: 19th March 2025, 7pm

Meet Your Local Councillors – Find Out How They Can Help You!

Ever wondered what your local councillors can and can’t do for you? Now’s your chance to find out!

We’ve invited councillors from all three Thornton Heath wards to join us at our next THCAT meeting. This is your opportunity to:
✅ Meet your councillors face-to-face
✅ Understand their roles and responsibilities
✅ Learn the best ways to contact them
✅ What they can’t do, but who to contact instead.

✅ Learn about the the Local Community Partnership (LCP).

This meeting is not a forum for raising wider issues about Thornton Heath or Croydon. Instead, it’s a chance to get to know your councillors, what they do, and how they can assist you. If time allows, councillors will be available after the meeting for one-to-one chats about personal issues.

☕ Arriving early? Tea and coffee will be available before the meeting (between 6.30-7pm), so if you get there a little early, feel free to grab a cuppa and have a chat with fellow residents and Thornton Heath Community Action Team members.

Date: Wednesday 19th March
Time: 7-8:30pm (Tea and coffee available 6.30-7pm)
Venue: St Andrew’s Church Hall (Entrance on Quadrant Road, CR7 7DA)

A big thank you to St Andrew’s Church for kindly loaning us the hall once again!

No need to book—just turn up! All locals are welcome.

To help structure the session, we’d love you to submit questions in advance to action@thorntonheath.net. Time allowing, there’ll also be a chance to ask questions on the night.

Did you know? All our THCAT events are listed in the We Are Thornton Heath app – learn about it here and download it for free here

We’ve also added useful councillor contact info in the Info Directory section of the app, so you can easily find it whenever you need it.

Just open the app and go to:
More (bottom right of the launch screen) > Info Directory > Write to your MP & Councillors

Please feel free to share the flyer!

Look forward to seeing you on the 19th!
