Not Croydon, but not quite inner London either, Thornton Heath lies in deepest South London. Like so many small villages which surrounded London in the 1860’s, the coming of the railway changed it irrevocably from isolated outpost to city suburb. Fast forward another century and Thornton Heath is a diverse, ever changing, community.

Thornton Heath Community Action Team (THCAT) is a collection of local people volunteering to make Thornton Heath a cleaner, greener and better place for us all to live!
