The Thornton Heath Community Action Team ‘Gardening Club’ takes place on the first Saturday of each month (weather permitting), from 1-3pm opposite the train station on Brigstock Road.
It’s run by Linda who volunteers as the Action Team’s Ambassador for Green and Sustainable Living.
If you’d like to join in and help us look after this prominent community space, please just bring some gloves if you can, and if it’s a colder day, wrap up warm. There’s always plenty to do from planting, weeding, watering, pruning, removing graffiti, painting, varnishing, sweeping, litter-picking and chatting to passers by!
Please do pop by and lend us a hand when you can. Children (accompanied by an adult) are most welcome too. Scroll for pics!
