New planter on Brook Road bridge

Two ladies planting a red and blue planter on a thornton heath pavement

Thornton Heath Community Action Team is excited to announce the installation of a new planter on Brook Road bridge. The blue and red planter was designed, built and painted by Graham (THCAT’s co Vice-Chair).

We would like to extend a big thank you to Linda Myers for providing transport, donating plants and for doing the planting. And, of course, we can’t forget Dee Dee for looking after the planters.

The new planter has been installed to replace one that was removed a little while ago. Additionally, the planter on the corner of Brook Road and Brigstock Road has also been removed, but don’t worry – it will be replaced soon. In fact, we have plans to put another planter at the other end of Brook Road too.

These planters are there for all to enjoy. If you live near one or pass by, please help us to keep it tidy and help by watering during the summer. Thank you!
