It is almost a year on from when Mayor Jason Perry, attended a hustings event organised by Thornton Heath Community Action Team where we heard from candidates of all parties campaigning to become Croydon’s first directly elected mayor.
We have invited Mayor Perry back to get an update on his first year in office as well as hearing more about his plans for the future of Thornton Heath and Croydon.
We are pleased to announce that the Mayor Perry has agreed to join us at our next Thornton Heath Community Action Team meeting on Thursday 9th March, 7-8.30pm at St Paul’s Church, Thornton Heath CR7
We are inviting questions from the public. The aim is to focus on questions specific to Thornton Heath or on issues affecting residents in Thornton Heath such as housing, crime, our greenspaces, flytipping, graffiti, parking……
We anticipate there will be questions on the borough’s finances and how this will impact on local residents.
Before you submit a question please bear in mind that this meeting will take place after the budget and council tax has been set for Croydon on March 1.
