Planting bulb 10am Sunday 27th September 2015

Come and join us beautify Thornton Heath!
This is just a reminder that we are holding our Autumn bulb and planting action day this Sunday (Sept 27th) meeting at 10am at Ambassador House.

This is a great chance to roll up your sleeves up, get your hands dirty and show your support for Thornton Heath Community Action Team’s campaign to make Thornton Heath a cleaner and greener place for us to all to live in.

Money from the Mayor of London’s Capital Clean Up Fund has been used to buy bulbs and seasonal flowers to ensure the Clocktower looks colourful throughout the year.
We are also sprucing up the area around Ambassador House with a new hexagonal planter, fresh plants and bulbs. In addition we will be doing a litter pick, painting the railings at Ambassador House and Croydon Council will be on hand giving support.
Please bring a trowel. Refreshments will be provided.

Update news from the day: THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMING. We had a great turn out so please join us and make a different to Thornton Heath!
